Saga Furs September auction started today with a strong sale of mainly male mink under lively competition in the fully packed auction room. Over 500 buyers are attending the auction with China and Russia well represented.
This auction’s offering is a typical end of the season collection of mainly lowgrades, breeders and summerskins, but also some regular skins. The active auction room showed the confidence in the mink market when the offering was 100% sold at firm to slightly increasing prices compared with the recent European levels. China was the dominant market with strong support from Russia and Greece.
