Saga Furs mink sale kicked-off strongly with 100 % selling of Sapphire males in a crowded auction room this morning. The offering sold at clearly increasing prices compared with recent international levels. Sapphire females were also 100 % sold at advancing prices. The auction continued with a strong sale of Silverblue mink, and the offering was again 100 % sold at increasing prices. Good price premiums were paid for top quality skins.
China was the dominant buyer with good support from Europe and Korea. Russia was also active, especially on Sapphire males.
The Saga Blue Shadow Fox Top Lot was yesterday bought by Carlo Guida Ltd. on behalf of Gorski Group Ltd.
The auction will continue tomorrow with the selling of White, Pearl and Pastel mink.
