Multitalented fur partner Viktor Konstantinopolski launched the new fur brand ASTEL by Konstantinopolski. Saga Furs was the main partner of the stylish event organized in Moscow, as well as the trusted partner, helping Konstantinopolski to realize their design vision with the help of new fur techniques developed at Saga Design Centre.
After decades of various experience in fur business and working together with Saga Furs, Viktor Konstantinopolski launches the new, family owner fur brand, ASTEL by Konstantinopolski. The new brand is a next step for his already successful business Accessory Fur, focusing mainly on fur accessories.
Konstantinopolski is also the master mind who has developed special metallizing techniques for skins. As a result, the skin gets silky softness with an amazing metallic layer in for example silver, bronze or gold tone. In fact, he is so good that the biggest names in fashion business trust only him when looking for a metallic effect in fur.
Saga Furs being the main partner of ASTEL by Konstantinopolski first collection
The new collection of ASTEL is called The Silk Road – it’s modern, classic and European – getting its inspiration from the trip to Saga Design Centre last spring. Additionally, ASTEL presented the new capsule collection called Rêve D’Hiver, which includes 8 garments designed for ASTEL by Hatem Alakeel from Saudi Arabia. Capsule collection brings to ASTEL the touch and feel of the Middle East. Both collections of ASTEL include the signature metallic effect, mix of different skins, intarsia, Saga Furs skins and of course the techniques are coming from the Saga Design Centre.
Konstantinopolski’s new brand was recently shown in Dubai, but now for the first time in Russia. Saga Furs being the main partner of the collection was happy to be part of the stylish launch event organized in Moscow on 18 November. Everything was done on a high level, from the venue selection, to champagne and oysters, music and the guest list.
The event attracted VIP guests, media with the Russian Fashion TV among them, influencers and the industry people. The collection looked amazing when the models walked on the runway and got huge amount of admiration among guests. After fashion show guests had a chance to actually touch and feel the collection and its precious materials and details, to try clothes on and even buy for themselves the highly hyped items.
