Saga Furs’ international fur auction started on Friday 14 September with the sale of over 700,000 mink skins. During the first auction day, there was selective interest over regular types, and breeders and low grades were 100% sold with marginally higher prices than in the most recent international auction.
The offering of the September auction consists of typical end-of-season collection of lowgrades, breeders an summerskins, but on offer is also limited amount of regular skins. The auction is attended by over 300 buyers from all main markets China, Russia, Greece, Turkey, Korea and European fashion industry.
The auction will continue tomorrow with the sale of mink.
