A master class on fur was held on 22 November during the International Forum in Minsk, an annual fur event organized by the Russian Fur Alliance with the support of the International Fur Federation (IFF). The master class attracted more than 70 fur professionals to attend. In the class, Saga Furs’ Business Manager of Eastern Europe, Mr Dmitri Larionov introduced Saga Furs brand as the modern choice of designers and presented the modern fur techniques and innovation developed at the Saga Furs Design Centre.
The attendees shared their experience working with fur and discussed not only the new techniques on fur sewing but also combination with different types of fur. They were all excited to get the chance to touch and have a closer look to the technique samples and asked questions to the invited specialists.
The final of the fourth International Remix Eurasia Design Competition took place during the international forum. This year out of 100 contestants, 11 talented young designers were selected in the final show. The first winner-up, Svetlana Ivanova was rewarded with a study trip to Saga Design Centre where the highly skilled furrier team will teach the latest fur techniques and trends.
