Saga Furs season’s 2019/2020 first auction started today in an active auction room with some 200 buyers. First on offer were 35,000 Finnraccoon pelts that were all sold with firm to slightly easier prices. The most active buyer was the European fashion industry with all the major markets present at the room.
The offering of 26,000 Blue Frost fox pelts met selective demand and achieved slightly easier prices than the closing of last season. The resistance for the Silver Fox continued in this season opening and the offering of 15,000 pelts met strong resistance from the market achieving very limited sales at easier prices.
The Finnraccoon Top Lot was bought by Susanna Ribak for Moda Fox.
The auction will conclude tomorrow with the selling of Blue and Blue Shadow fox.
