The 7th China International Import Expo (2024 CIIE) was arranged from November 5th to 10th in Shanghai, with the theme of “New Era, Shared Future”. The expo was hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government.
In the hall of the country exhibition, Saga Furs once again participated in the Finland Pavilion. Mr. Ville Tavio, Minister of Foreign Trade and Development of Finland, visited the booth and warmly gave greetings to the participating companies.
Saga Furs, the trusted global home of responsibly produced fur, introduced the high quality and sustainability of natural furs. This year, the focus was on creative technical samples, made from Finnish farmed fox pelts. The warmth, comfort and elegance of natural fox pelts was perfectly in line with the theme of “Happiness and Nature” of the Finland Pavilion.
During the expo, many participants who visited the booth expressed their great interest and love for natural furs, including some media professionals.
The 7th CIIE – a massive event
The 7th CIIE in 2024 covered an overall exhibition area of more than 420,000 square meters. A total of 152 countries, regions and international organizations participated in the country exhibition and business exhibition.
The country exhibition was attended by 77 countries and international organizations and the business exhibition by nearly 3500 exhibitors, which surpassed the record set in 2023. Of them, 297 are Fortune 500 enterprises and industry leaders, a new milestone.
The Finland Pavilion was led by Business Finland and included 18 Finnish companies. With the theme of “Happiness and Nature”, the focus was on showcasing the country´s unique charm of snow, ice and forests, integrating Finnish life with the beauty of the nature. Moomin, the Finnish national treasure, and Little My joined for the photo sessions with live interaction, bringing great fun and cultural experiences to the visitors.
