The annual Haining China International Fashion Week 2020 was successfully organized from 5th August to 9th August. Saga Furs had carried out all-round cooperation with industry associations, universities and well-known fur enterprises to jointly promote the development and upgrading of fur fashion.
This year the fair focused on bringing innovation to leather and fur fashion. Inspiration and innovation developed at Saga Furs Design Centre help to promote Saga® Mink, Fox and Finnraccoon on a global scale. By cooperating with China Leather Association, Haining China Leather City, and BIFTPARK HN, Saga Furs explored and promoted the concepts of “young”, “personality” and “sustainability” into fur innovation.
Industry-education-research cooperation boosting fur innovation
BIFTPARK & Saga Furs fashion show was hosted on the first day of the fair. It was organized by the most famous fur designer of China Ms. Diao Mei, who has visited Saga Furs Design Centre three times since 1989. The collection was designed by BIFT and other 4 universities’ design students who took fur training course at BIFTPARK HN. This demonstrates the teaching and training achievements of the BIFTPARK HN since its establishment three years ago.
As a co-construction partner of the BIFTPARK-HN, Saga Furs has been strongly supporting the show in many aspects, from fur materials to techniques, from design skills to manufactures.
After the show, the collection will be introduced to Saga’s partners from fur and fashion industries. It will certainly help fur trade to overcome the difficulties caused by Covid-19 pandemic and take advantage of new opportunities in the Chinese market.
