The second day of the Saga Furs September auction followed the same positive pattern as yesterday regarding clearances and prices. Today on offer were 729,000 Silverblue mink pelts which all achieved high clearance percentages and Silverblue Velvet females were 90% sold. In addition, on offer were Sapphire, unique North American mutation minks as well as 32,000 Blue Iris pelts, which were nearly 50% sold.
China was again the dominant market with strong support from Turkey in the males.
The auction will continue tomorrow with the offering of North American minks including the exclusive BLACKGLAMA collection.
