On offer today at the Saga Furs June auction were 835,000 Brown and dark male pelts. All the pelts on sale today achieved slightly easier prices compared to recent European levels. The Brown offering was 70% sold and the Mahoganies and Blacks achieved slightly reduced clearances.
China was again the most dominant buyer and large quantities were sold also to Europe, Russia and South Korea.
The sale of Brown and dark mink will continue tomorrow with female pelts along with smaller quantities of other mink types.
